It's BACK ...

Finals Week.  Just when I almost had the memory of last semester's finals burned out of my mind ... final's week has once again crept up out of the darkest corners of gloom and doom.  I do well enough on my exams, but the HOURS of studying, week of No Sleep, and watery eyes from over-reading is something I never look forward to.  I feel like I am losing my mind.  Instead of feeling like my all-day study sessions (literally) are helping my brain develop more neural synapses, I feel like my brain cells are actually deteriorating.  Some highlights (and lowlights) of the day:

- "Woke up" at 7 am.  Snoozed for 45 minutes.  Then actually woke up.

- Scarfed down some pizza for breakfast.  Left over from our 5th floor fiesta last night.

- Studied Psychology forEVER.

-  Took a shower, REFUSED to get ready.  Who's going to see me while I'm locked up in my apartment reading textbooks all day?  Exactly.  It's a glasses, messy hair, sweat pants, and old t-shirt kinda day.

-  Checked a few of my residents out of their rooms.  I tried hard to not let them see how envious I was that they are done with all their tests and their Summer begins now!

- Found out my boss's wife had their baby today and got to see some brand new pictures of the little guy.  He's adorable :) Congratulations Richard!!

- Studied with my fantastic roommates Lauren and Shanna.
Studied more with Lauren and Shanna.

                 Studied ALL DAY with Lauren and Shanna.  9 hours.  Plus more.  I love them.

Lauren had the brilliant idea to post a little note on our door:

- There were a few people dying.  We got a few knocks.  But we didn't answer ... Hope they're okay! 

- Made blueberry muffins for the morning ahead :) 

Two finals in the A.M., and resident check-outs all day long.  I will survive finals week.  Then time to partayyy!
